Days after launching the Eluga Prim, Panasonic has debuted another 4G VoLTE smartphone in India. The Panasonic P88 joins the ‘P’ series family and joins the large population of smartphones – offering nothing special other than a shiny metal body and Voice over LTE.
The Panasonic P88 sports a 5.3-inch IPS On-Cell display with 1280 x 720 pixels (HD) screen resolution and 2.5D curved Asahi glass protection. It measures 8.65mm thick, weighs in at 156 grams and has a textured rear finish as well as an anti-dust receiver.
On the inside, the device is powered by a quad-core processor clocked at 1.25GHz paired along with 2GB of RAM, 16GB built-in expandable storage, and boots Android Marshmallow OS. Photography is handled by a front facing 5MP camera with LED flash and a rear placed 13MP camera with Triple LED flash.
The Panasonic P88 is backed by a 2600mAh battery and connectivity options available include – 4G VoLTE, WiFi 802.11 b/g/n, Bluetooth 4.0 and GPS. It is currently on sale across India via various retail stores for a price tag of Rs. 9290 (US$ 137). Charcoal Grey and Gold are the available colour options.
