Pantech Pop Up Note
A Vietnamese forum Tinhte.vn has posted a brief of the unannounced Pantech Pop Up Note. Pantech is a popular South Korean smartphone manufacturer but the company is currently struggling to balance it books.
Moving on to the specs, the Pantech Pop Up Note (Pantech A920S) features a 5.5-inch 1080p Full HD display, powered by a 2.3GHz quad-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 800 processor, 2GB of RAM, 16GB of internal storage and a microSD card slot. On the rear is a 13MP camera with LED flash and a 2.1MP front facing camera.
The Pantech Pop Up Note runs on Android 4.4.2 Kitkat, supports 2G, 3G, 4G connectivity options and also features a fingerprint Sensor for unlocking and identification purposes.
To remove the stylus from the holder, you have to push a button at the side of the phablet and it pops out up to; this is where the device is said to get its name from.
Judging from the specs the Pop Up Note doesn’t really have what it takes to compete against the already announced LG G3 and the upcoming Samsung Galaxy Note 4 phablet devices.

Pantech need all the help they can get, the company is said to be wooing Korean Networks to commit big time to its latest offering by purchasing large units; and without carrier support the company would file for bankruptcy.
The Pantech Pop Up note has not been announced but according to sources it would be priced at 9.5 million Vietnamese dong ( $448/ €334/ ₦73,000) that’s is if the devices get to see the light of the day or make it out of South Korea.
