Along with the Gini W5, Pelephone has announced the Gini N6 and Gini S4 smartphones in Israel. Both device are not primarily designed for the Isreali operator however the Pelephone Gini N6, a top range device costs 1499 Israeli New Shekels (USD 385) while the Pelephone Gini S4, a low range device costs 599 Isreali New Shekels (USD 154).
Starting with the specifications of Pelephone Gini N6 – it sports a 5.2-inch Super AMOLED display with 1920 x 1080 pixels (FHD) screen resolution, a pixel density of 423ppi and Corning Gorilla Glass 3 protection. It has a mix of metal and glass body, measures 5.5mm thin (full dimensions – 148.8 x 72.4 x 5.5 mm) and weighs 125 grams.
The device relies on an octa-core Mediatek MT6752 Cortex-A53 processor clocked at 1.7GHz with Mali-T760 GPU, 2GB of RAM and 32GB built-in storage space. For photography, there is a rear facing 13-megapixe camera with LED flash and a front facing 8-megapixel camera for selfies and video chats.
The Pelephone Gini N6 supports 2G, 3G and 4G LTE networks, runs Aandroid Lollipop OS (upgradable to Android 6.0 Maarshmallow OS) and is backed by a non-removable 2700mAh Li-ion battery that promises up to 15 hours of talk time and 270 hours of talk time.
On the other hand, the Pelephone Gini S4 sports a 5-inch display, powered by a quad-core Mediatek processor cocked at 1.3GHz with 1GB of RAM, 16GB built-in storage space, backed by a removble 2000mAh battery and runs Android 5.1 Lollipop OS. There is a front facing 2-megapixel and rear facing 5-megapixel camera for photography.
Pelephone also has two upcoming phablet sized devices – a 6-inch phablet with FHD resoution, 3GB RAM, 64GB built-in storage, front 5-megapixel camera and rear 13-megapixel camera. The other is a 5.5-inch phablet also with 3GB RAM, front 5-megapixel camera, rear facing 13-megapixel camera but with 32GB built-in storage.
