Philips Mobile is looking to strengthen its mobile presence in India with the Philips I928 Phablet and Philips S388. The company debut in the Indian market in May with the Philips S308, W3500 and W6610 smartphones.

The Philips I928 features a 6-inch 1080p Full HD IPS display with a 2.5D curved glass screen and narrow Bezels. The device is powered by an Octa-core MediaTek MT6592 processor clocked at 1.7GHz, 2GB of RAM, 16GB of internal storage and micro SD card slot for expansion. There is a 13MP auto-focus rear camera withe LED flash capable of 1080p full HD video recording and a 5MP front facing camera.

The Philips I928 has a leather-like back cover, measures 7.9mm in thickness, weighs 168 grams and runs on Android 4.2 Jelly Bean OS. There are 3G HSPA+, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, Bluetooth, GPS connectivity options and a 3000mAh powers the smartphone.
