Philips has a new smartphone in the works which is expected to go official in the nearest future. Spotted with the model name/number – Philips S653H, the 5.5-inch has been certified in China by TENAA and some of the device’s specs, images has been outed by the agency.
According to the listing, the Philips S653H sports a 5.5-inch display with 1920 x 1080 pixels (Full HD) screen resolution, pixel density of 401ppi and is packed a premium looking metal body build. It measures 153.5 x 74.3 x 6.95 mm in dimensions, weighs in at 150 grams and is backed by a 2550mAh battery.
Under the hood, the device relies on an octa-core processor clocked at 2.0GHz which could either be the Mediatek Helio P10 or Helio X10 SoC. This is paired along with 3GB of RAM and 32GB built-in storage space. For additional space, there is a microSD card slot for storage expansion up to 128GB.
For photography, the Philips S653H packs a front facing 8MP camera for selfies and a rear facing 8MP AutoFocus camera with Dual LED flash. The device also has a fingerprint scanner below the main camera, supports 2G, 3G & 4G LTE networks and boots Android 6.0 Marshmallow out-of-the-box.
