Philips Russia has commenced sales of the battery-centric Philips Xenium X818. The new device is backed by a sizeable 3900mAh Li-ion battery (non-removable) which should last long hours of usage and available from Philips Russia’s online store for 23,990 Russian Ruble (US$ 373).
Running Android 6.0 Marshmallow OS, the Philips Xenium X818 sports a mix of metal and glass body build and is powered by an octa-core MediaTek Helio P10 (MT6755) processor clocked at 2.0 GHz along with 3GB of RAM and 32GB internal storage space (expandable with microSD card up to 128GB).
It features a 5.5-inch (1920 x 1080 pixels) FHD IPS LCD display and adopts the SoftBlue LED technology to reduce the impact of harmful blue light rays into the eyes. For photography, there is a rear facing 16MP camera with Dual LED flash and a front facing MP camera for selfies nd video chats.
The device has Dual SIM slots, supports 4G LTE (Cat. 6 + LTE-A) and uses the reversible USB Type-C port. The Philips Xenium X818 is also equipped with a front placed fingerprint sensor, measures 153.5 x 76 x 6.95 mm, weighs in at 167 grams and arrrives in a single Champagne colour option.
