With the ZTE Nubia Z9 out of the way, ZTE is reportedly working on the ZTE Nubia X8 and some of the images has surfaced online. The phablet sized device comes with high end specs and is also has a fingerprint scanner on the rear.
The ZTE Nubia X8 phablet sports a 6-inch bezel-less display with resolutions tipped to be a Quad HD one and has a metal unibody design which also has a mixture of plastic too. There is a fingerprint scanner placed below the camera on the back. The devices uses 4GB of LPDDR3 RAM and has either 32GB or 64GB space of internal storage. There is a microSD card slot for storage expansion up to 64GB.
The device measures 7.9mm in thickness, weighs 201 grams, runs on Android 5.0 Lollipop OS with the company’s skin ontop and is backed by a 5120mAh battery. Connectivity options on the ZTE Nubia Z8 phablet includes – micro USB 2.0, 4G LTE, 3G, Wi-Fi, and Bluetooth.
There is no word on when ZTE would announce this smartphone but is expected to come in Black and Gold colour options. We will have to wait until the official announcement to know the full details.
