Pioneer is one of those quiet manufacturers out there in China, they make products ranging from DJ Turntables, Speakers, Headphones, smartphones and more. They may be quiet but time to time they tend to have some interesting devices announced.
The Pioneer M1 is a latest device coming from the company and it is a phablet sized device coming with a 6-inch display. The 6-inch display uses a HD (1280 x 720 pixels) resolution. Under the hood is the 64-bit octa-core MediaTek MT6752 with 2GB of RAM, 16GB space of internal storage.
The Pioneer M1 comes with a microSD card slot for storage expansion and is obviously sporting standard connectivity suite but no word on LTE. It is backed by a worthy 3610mAh battery and runs on Android 4.4 Kitkat OS. It comes with a high-end Hi-Fi audio feature from Wolfson and comes with built-in dedicated stereo speakers.
The Pioneer M1 is definitely something for the audiophiles out there and those looking for a large-screen sized (Phablet) device on the cheap. Judging from the specifications, it won’t be too pricy and it would be priced to be able to compete with its respective competitors in the market; lets say a sub $200 price tag.
