Pixel 5 vs Pixel 4a (5G) vs Pixel 4a: Specs Comparison

Google has recently unveiled the Pixel 5 and Pixel 4a (5G) to join the existing Pixel 4a, which was announced in August. In summary, Google’s Pixel smartphone line-up currently has one flagship and two mid-range devices – one with 5G and other with only 4G. The trio have 128GB built-in storage space, OLED screen with FHD+ resolution, usual Google AI and Assistant features, and Titan M security chip to keep the device secure.

All three will get three years of security and software updates from Google and expected to retail for US$ 699 (AU$ 999), US$ 499 (AU$ 799) and US$ 349 (AU$ 599) respectively. The Pixel 4a (5G) specs sits in between the Pixel 5 and Pixel 4a, however, it is closer to the former than the latter. It has the same processor – Qualcomm Snapdragon 765G mobile platform – and 12MP + 16MP dual rear camera setup as the Pixel 5 but the RAM is lower (6GB) and does not include wireless charging.
