Google’s Pixel fall event was all about its new Pixel phones and other similar Pixel related announcements. The new Pixel 6 Pro and Pixel 6 were open secrets in the ‘techverse’ and it was just a matter of time before there was an official announcement. Both 5G models are powered by the company’s first in-house designed mobile processor – Google Tensor and usher in the era of Android 12 OS. They come with Google’s next-gen Titan M2 which taps into Tensor security core and TrustZone (TrustyOS) to protect sensitive user data and feature a distinct camera metal bar (matte black) complemented by metallic body frame and curved glass black.
The duo have the Battery Share function to charge other devices wireless and support both fast wired and wireless charging. With Tensor, Google expects to deliver the best of Machine Learning (ML) to Pixel smartphones. The processor backs the following features such as Live Translate (up to 55 languages), Motion Mode, Face Unblur, Speech Enhancement mode for videos, and more.
