POCO has unveiled its latest flagship phone – the POCO F2 Pro at an online global event. It is powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 865 mobile platform with Snapdragon X55 Modem for 5G (SA & NSA bands) connectivity and arrives in two configurations – a basic 6GB RAM with 128GB storage model for EUR 499 and 8GB RAM with 256GB storage model for EUR 599. Prospective buyers can choose from Cyber Grey, Electric Purple, Neon Blue and Platinum White colour choices.
The smartphone is based around a 6.67-inch Super AMOLED display with 92.7% screen-to-body ratio, 60Hz refresh rate and 180Hz touch sampling rate, 100% DCI-P3 Wide Color Gamut and Corning Gorilla Glass 5 protection. It has an in-display fingerprint sensor, 360o ambient light sensor, supports HDR+ and has received the TUV Rheinland High Gaming Performance certification.
Emphasis was also placed on the three-layered LiquidCool 2.0 technology which includes vapor chamber, multi-layer graphite, and graphene. The POCO F2 Pro packs a X-shaped quad rear camera setup, comprising of a primary 64MP Sony IMX686 camera with 1/1.72” sensor size paired with a 13MP ultra-wide snapper with 123O FOV, 5MP tele-macro unit and 2MP depth sensing lens. The setup records 8K videos at 30fps and 4K videos at 60fps.
A 20MP pop-up camera with multi-color notification light is positioned on the front. The rest of the specs includes IR blaster, 3.5mm audio jack, USB Type-C port with OTG, and dual mics for noise cancellation. The F2 Pro boots Android 10 with Poco Launcher 2.0 and power is supplied by a 4,700mAh battery with 30W fast charging.
