Polaroid is a well known brand for making digital still cameras and HD & mountable video cameras but that is not all the company also has a line of tablets and Flat-Screen TV. The company has just announced at the CES two cheap slates in the Polaroid L Series – Polaroid L7 and Polaroid L10 which will see both tablets run Android 5.0 Lollipop OS and feature Quad-core processors.
Like the name implies the Polaroid L7 features a 7-inch display and the L10 has a 10.1-inch display. Both slates are powered by what the company calls super-fast Quad-core processors which is unlikely to be Qualcomm. Both slates do no offer cellular connectivity which means they are a Wi-Fi only tablet but has Bluetooth connectivity.
Most of the specs of the L7 are not detailed like the screen resolution is unknown, the RAM and internal storage options. But the statement did state it would come with front and rear cameras, front mounted speakers and extended battery life.
The Polaroid L Series tablets – (Polaroid L7 and Polaroid L10) would be available by Spring 2015 in the US for $99 and $149. For this amount users should expect too much from the aforementioned slates but they would run the latest Android 5.0 Lollipop so that could do for some.
