Smartphones are getting bigger and bigger in screen size, however, there are still a couple of small devices in the market which caters for those who need devices very small, simple and efficient to use. Last year, we saw the Elephone Q with 2.54-inch display, this time around it is the Posh Mobile Micro X S240 with 2.4-inch full touch LCD display.
Judging by the screen size, the Posh Mobile Micro X S240 should hold the record for being the current smallest Android Phone in the world. It relies on an Mediatek processor clocked at 1.0GHz with 512MB of RAM, 4GB built-in storage space and backed by a 650mAh battery that provides up to 4hrs talk time.
It packs a front VGA (0.3-megapixel) camera for selfies, a rear 2-megapixel camera (no LED flash) and a microSD card slot for storage expansion up to 32GB. The Single SIM device supports 2G and 3G networks as well as having Bluetooth, micro USB 2.0, GPS and Wi-Fi options.
Disappointedly, the device boots the already dated Android 4.4 Kitkat OS and will arrive in Black, Blue, Pink and White colour options. It is a bit over-priced at $89.99 considering there are better low-end specced devices in the market for that price. Asides the novelty of ending up in the list of smallest Android phones around, sales could hard to come by.
