As earlier showcased to the public in June, Prestigio has announced the availability of its low-cost dual-sim smartphones, the MultiPhone Duo 8500 and MultiPhone Duo 8400 in the Russian market. Both devices come pre-loaded Windows Phone 8.1 OS out-of-the-box.
The Prestigio MultiPhone 8500 Duo features a 5-inch display with 720 x 1280 pixels (HD) resolution, powered by a quad-core Cortex A7 Qualcomm processor clocked at 1.2GHz, Adreno 305 GPU, 1GB of RAM, 8GB internal storage space, microSD card slot, rear facing 8MP camera with LED flash,front facing 2MP camera, Dual-Sim support with Dual Standby support, 3G connectivity support, measures 8.3mm thick and is backed by a 2000mAh battery.
The Prestigio MultiPhone 8400 Duo features a 4-inch (480 x 800 pixels) WVGA IPS display, powered by a quad-core Qualcomm MSM8212 processor clocked at 1.2GHz, 512MB of RAM, 4GB internal storage, no microSD card slot, front facing VGA (0.3MP) camera, rear facing 8MP camera, Dual SIM slots measures 10.95mm thick, 3G connectivity support and backed by a 2000mAh battery.
Both the Prestigio MultiPhone 8500 Duo and MultiPhone 8400 Duo are available in Black and White colour variants. The former costs $227 / €170 / RUB 7,990 (N37,000 in Naira) while the latter costs $122 / €85/ RUB 4,290 (N20,000 In Naira) and starts shipping by the first half of August.
