Google is expected to announce the Google Nexus 6 (Motorola Shamu) and the Nexus 9 (HTC Volantis) alongside Android L in coming days or weeks. As expected the rumors won’t stop until the device actually drops; recently retired @evleaks has stroke up the flames on the Nexus 6 (Nexus X or Motorola Shamu) with a picture that appears to be a press photo of the upcoming Google Nexus 6.
The leaked picture shows the interface of the Android L running device, the front panel and the metal frame of the device. The Google Nexus 6 would be the first phablet device in the nexus line with a 5.9-inch 2560 x 1440 pixels QHD display. Asides the display, the Nexus 6 will come with a Qualcomm Snapdragon 805 chipset with a 2.65GHz quad-core Krait 450 CPU, 3GB of RAM, 13MP camera with OIS and a dual-flash ring configuration and 3200mAh battery.
A 8.9-inch sized device from Google built by HTC, the Nexus 9 is also expected to be announced. The Google Nexus 9 (also known as the Flounder or HTC Volantis) would mark HTC’s return to the tablet scene. Expect the device to run on Android L and sport a NVIDIA Tegra K1 processor.
