We expected much variants of the flagship Samsung Galaxy S5 and as at now we have already seven variants already considering the Mini, the Active, Sport, Zoom and the unannounced Prime (Galaxy Alpha). It is looking likely that another Galaxy S5 Variant is on the way dubbed the Galaxy S5 Neo.
A yet to be known smartphone with the model number SM-G850 has been spotted on benchmark and is heavily tipped to be the Samsung Galaxy S5 Neo. The Galaxy S5 Neo is expected to be a cheaper version of the original variant with a more reduced screen.
Samsung Galaxy S5 Neo Benchmark
The possible Galaxy S5 Neo (SM-G850 according to benchmark results is expected to feature a 4.7-inch (1280 x 720) pixels AMOLED display. The device would be powered by a 1.8GHz Exynos 5 octa 5410 processor with four Cortex A15 cores and four Cortex A7 cores, ARM Mali T628 GPU.
The device is also expected to feature 2GB of RAM, 32GB of storage, 11MP rear camera, 2MP front facing camera. Connectivity options on the Galaxy S5 Neo includes GPS, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth4.0, NFC. Pedometer, gyroscope, proximity, light sensor & accelerometer are the sensors on the device.
The Galaxy S5 Neo would also runs on Android 4.4.4 Kitkat OS with Samsung’s TouchWIZ layer ontop. When the device is fully announced and available, we will update the device.
