Pakistani based, QMobile has announced the QMobile Linq L15 – an entry level smartphone is the successor to the QMobile Linq L10. The device is priced at PKR 12,900 (Pakistani Rupees) which is a bit pricey considering the specs (~$127). Black is the only available colour option.
The QMobile Linq L15 features a 5-inch IPS LCD display with a resolution of 1280 x 720 pixels (HD), pixel density of 320ppi, 67.9% screen-to-body ratio and Corning Gorilla Glass 3 protection. A brief look at the design shows a phone with smoothly curved edges for easy handling and leather back cover design.
Under the hood, powering the device is a quad-core processor clocked at 1.3GHz which is believed to be the Mediatek MT6582 paired with ARM Mali-400 MP2 GPU, 1GB of RAM and 8GB space of internal storage. There is a microSD card slot for storage expansion up to 64GB.
The main camera is a 8MP AutoFocus camera with LED flash and the front camera is a 5MP snapper for selfies. Connectivity options on the device includes – Bluetooth 4.0, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, Wi-Fi Hotspot, GPS and micro USB 2.0.
The QMobile Linq L15 runs Android 5.0 Lollipop OS, measures 8.5mm thick, supports Dual SIM slots, and is backed by a 2800mAh battery which is expected to 9 hours of talk time on 3G and up to 374 hours of standby time.
