Pakistani based device maker, Qmobile has recently announced two new basic mobile phones – the Qmobile Power 900 and Qmobile Power 5. The highlight of both devices is the fact that they come with big capacity batteries (above 3000 mAh) but mind you they are no smartphones by any means.
Starting with the Qmobile Power 900; it sports a 2.8-inch TFT display with a resolution of 320 x 240 pixels (QVGA), up to 16GB memory support, Bluetooth and 2G/EDGE connectivity support, has Dual SIM slots, a smart rear camera and is backed by a 4000mAh battery that should last several days of usage.
Other useful features includes FM Radio, tracker, Auto call record, Audio player, Video player, 3.5 mm audio jack and Torchlight. It is available in Black colour option only and costs PKR 2850 (USD 27).
On its part, the Qmobile Power 5 has a smaller 2.4-inch display with almost same the resolution, up to 16GB memory support, Bluetooth, 2G/Edge connectivity and is backed by 3200mAh battery with guarantees of days with lasting battery life. It costs PKR 2745 (USD 23) and comes also in black colour only.
The similar Dual SIM Power 5 performs similar functions and features as the Qmobile Power 900 but there is an obvious difference in screen size and battery capacity.
