Unlike the Snapdragon 888 which includes the Snapdragon™ X60 5G Modem-RF system support for Wi-Fi 6E, the Snapdragon 870 has the same Snapdragon X55 5G Modem-RF system on the Snapdragon 865 and 865+ mobile platform and supports only Wi-Fi 6. Qualcomm has confirmed the mobile platform will make its appearance in devices from iQOO, Motorola, OnePlus, OPPO, and Xiaomi.
