Quantum FLY 4G: FHD Display, Deca-Core Soc And 3000mAh Battery

Days ago, Quantum, a subsidiary of Positivo, announced the first ever first deca-core smartphone in Brazil –the Quantum FLY 4G, at an event in Sao Paulo. Also announced at the event is the Quantum Boom, a Bluetooth speaker accessory with sound amplifier.

Available in Aurora Blue, Cherry Blossom and Stone Gray colour options, the Quantum FLY 4G runs Android 6.0.1 Marshmallow OS and is equipped with the Deca-Core Mediatek Helio X20 (MT6797) 64-bit processor clocked at 2.1GHz paired with 3GB of RAM and internal storage space stands at 32GB.

The smartphone sports a 5.2-inch 2.5D glass display with 1920 x 1080 pixels (Full HD) screen resolution, Corning Gorilla Glass 3 protection and a pixel density of 423ppi. It has Dual SIM slots (Micro + Nano) and is backed by a sizeable 3000mAh Battery.

In the camera segment, there is a rear facing 16MP camera with LED flash and a front 8MP camera with 80-degree wide angle lens. Just below the main camera sits the fingerprint sensor which has the aim of enhancing the security performance.

The Boom speaker lasts up to 5 hours of usage and connects with mobile devices within the range of 10 metres via Bluetooth. It weighs 502 grams and  body is made up of both polycarbonate and metal.

The Quantum FLY 4G supports 4G LTE connectivity is priced at 1,299 Brazilian Real (US$ 395) for payment in Cash and 1,499 Brazilian Real (US$ 456) for payment in/with terms. The Quantum Boom Speaker is priced at 399 Brazilian Real (US$ 121) and arrives in silver and Pink colours.

The brand’s first model smartphone is the Quantum GO which is available for a RRP of 699 Brazilian Real  (US$183) which is also on sale on at www.meuquantum.com.br. It sports a 5-inch display, 1.3 GHz octa-core processor, 4G LTE dual-SIM card, 32 GB memory, 2 GB of RAM memory, 13MP main camera and runs Android 5.1 Lollipop OS.
