Ramos M7 with HD display, MTK6753, 4G LTE and 5000mAh battery costs $200

Popular chinese tablet maker, Ramos which started making smartphones this year (July 2015) has announced a new smartphone – the Ramos M7 in China. It is already selling in the country for a price equivalent to US$ 200 in Champagne, Coffee Brown and Sky Gray colours.

One of the highlights of the Ramos M7 is the beefy 5000mAh battery which the company says lasts up to 3 days of usage. It also supports reverse charging i.e it can be used to charge up other mobile devices using the OTG cable.

Despite the size of the battery capacity, it measures 142 x 70 x 9.6mm in dimension and weighs 162 grams in size. The mid-ranger sports a 5-inch (1280 x 720 pixels) HD LTPS ONCELL display, powered by is an Octa-core MT6753 64-bit processor with 2GB RAM and 16GB built-in storage space.

In the camera segment, there is a rear facing 13MP f/2.2 camera with Omnivision OV13850 sensor, LED flash; and a front facing 5MP f/2.4 camera and Omnivision OV5670 sensor for selfies. The Ramos M7 has an Hybrid Dual SIM slot and supports 2G, 3G and 4G LTE networks.

Other connectivity options onboard includes – Bluetooth 4.0, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, GPS/AGPS/GLONASS, VoLTE, USB OTG and micro USB. It runs MOUI 2.0 which is based on Android 5.1 Lollipop OS.
