Ramos Mos1 Max goes official with 3GB RAM and 6010mAh battery for $440

Ramos has finally announced their second smartphone of the year – the Ramos Mos1 Max after several teasing and leaks has trailed the device. It will go on sale in China starting 3rd November through online resellers for CNY 2799 ($440) and would come in Gold, Grey, Rose Gold and Silver colour options.

The highlight of the Ramos Mos1 Max is the 6010mAh battery which should guarantee longer battery life – about two days of heavy usage and up to four days of light usage. Other devices with such battery capacity includes – the Innos Yi Luo D6000, Allview P8 Energy, Doogee T6, and Oukitel k6000.

The phablet has a 6.44-inch (1920 x 1080 pixels) Full HD display with 2.5D glass panel ontop. It powered by an octa-core Mediatek MT6735 processor which doesn’t speak well of the kind of pricing the device commands. The processor is paired with 3GB of RAM and 32GB internal storage space.

For quality listening experience, the ESS ES9018K2M audio decoder for pro-level audio HIFI sound and quality; and for photography, there is a 13MP main camera and a front facing 8MP camera for selfies. It weighs 230 grams and runs MOUI 2.0 OS which is based on Android 5.1 Lollipop OS.

Personally, I would have loved Ramos use either any of the Mediatek Helio X10 processor or better still the Helio P10 processor. Well known for their numerous tablets, the company might find it very hard to break the Huawei and Xiaomi dominance in the home market.
