At this year’s edition of the Global Sources Hong Kong event (GSHK 2016), Ramos, one of the attending manufacturers had its upcoming device – the Ramos MOS3 showcased in its stands. Although not officially announced yet, the MOS3 will soon join the Ramos MOS1 and Ramos MOS1 Max in the market. Pricing and exact launch date is still unknown.
Packed in a full metal unibody, the Ramos MOS3 sports a 5.5-inch (1920 x 1080 pixels) Full HD In-Cell JDI Pixel Eye display with 2.5D glass covering. On the inside, it is powered by the octa-core Mediatek Helio P10 MT6755 64-bit processor with 4GB of RAM and 64GB built-in storage.
On the rear sits the main camera – a 13-megapixel snapper with Phase Detection AutoFocus (PDAF) and the fingerprint sensor. The front camera is a 8-megapixel snapper for selfies and video chats. The device has Hybrid Dual SIM slot (either 2 SIMs or One SIM and microSD card).
The Ramos M3 boots Android 6.0 Marshmallow OS and draws power from a sizeable 4100mAh battery which could last up to two days of moderate usage (could be more or less). It also packs the USB 3.1 Type-C port for charging and data transfers.
