Along with the Razer Phone 2, the gaming company also announced the Razer Raiju Mobile – a gaming controller for Android smartphones. This new accessory is based on the Razer Raiju Ultimate for PS4 and aims to deliver more accuracy and functionality to gameplay compared to what the traditional on-screen buttons offer.
The Razer Raiju Mobile has an adjustable phone mount that tilts up to 60 degrees and multi-function buttons that are customisable using Razer’s Android app. There is a Hair Trigger mode and Razer’s signature “Mecha-Tactile” technology integrated into the action buttons.
Priced starting at $149.99, the controller is compatible with the Razer Phone and Razer Phone 2 as well as any device running Android 6.0 or higher and connects via Bluetooth or USB-C (micro-USB is supported via an adapter).
It lasts up to 23 straight hours of usage on a single charge via the USB-C port. Razer also promises PC compatibility at a later date and lists games such as Vainglory, Lineage 2, Dead Trigger 2 and Gear-Club as compatible titles. The Razer Raiju Mobile will arrive by Q4 2018.
