Official: Realme 2 with 6.2-inch 19:9 FullView display, Dual Rear Cameras, 4230mAh Battery

OPPO’s Realme Mobiles‎ has announced the Realme 2, successor to the Amazon-exclusive Realme 1 launched about three months ago. This model is powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 450 octa-core processor paired with either 3/4GB of RAM and 32/64GB built-in expandable storage space.

The smartphone has a notched 6.2-inch HD+ display with Gorilla Glass protection and a Diamond pattern finish in Black, Blue or Red colour options. It is also equipped with 13MP + 2MP dual rear cameras and a front 8MP camera with both AI shot and Beauty customisation.

The Realme 2 also has facial unlock, fingerprint unlock and smart unlock. It boots ColorOS 5.1 (based on Android Oreo) and depends on a 4,230mAh battery with AI Power Manager, which allows the device last up to 18 hours of music playback time and 44 hours of call time.

Pricing and Availability

The Realme 2 will go on sale from September 4 in India. The 3GB/32GB model costs INR 8,990 (USD 127) while the 4GB/64GB model is priced at INR 10,990 (USD 155). The Black and Red colours variants will be available in September while the Blue version will be available in October.  The brand also teased the pending launch of the Realme 2 Pro this September.
