realme has announced a new addition to its 7-branded mid-range smartphone series in Europe. The realme 7 5G, as it is known, is based on the MediaTek Dimensity 800U (MT6873V) 7nm processor with support for 5G (NSA/SA) connectivity and comes pre-loaded with realme UI (based on Android 10). It sports a 6.5-inch FHD+ display with 90.5% screen-to-body ratio, 120Hz refresh rate and 180Hz touch sampling rate, and 16MP (f/2.1, 5P lens, 79.3° FOV) camera in the top-left notch.
Photography is handled is a quad rear camera setup headed by a 48MP (f/1.8, 6P lens) main camera paired with 8MP (f/2.3, 119°, 5P lens) ultra-wide-angle lens, 2MP (f/2.4, 3P lens, 4cm focus) macro sensor and 2MP (f/2.4) B&W Portrait lens. The rest of the specs include 6GB LPDDR4x RAM + 128GB (UFS 2.1) storage, side-mounted fingerprint sensor, Bluetooth 5.1, Hybrid slot (2x Nano slots or 1x Nano + 1 microSD slot), USB Type-C, and 3.5mm audio jack.
Power is provided by a 5,000mAh battery with OTG reverse charging and 30W (5V/6A) Dart Charge fast charging (0 to 100% in 65 minutes). There is a Super Power Saving Mode that lets the device last up to 28hrs standby time with just 5% battery. The realme 7 5G is available in Flash Silver and Mist Blue colours for a starting price of EUR 279. During the Black Friday sale, it is currently available for EUR 229.
The company also announced the Realme Watch S with 1.3″ (3.3cm) Round Touch screen, Smart Notifications, Heart rate sensor, Blood-Oxygen monitor (SpO2), 16 Sports modes, magnetic charging base, and IP68 water resistance. It offers Music control, Camera control, safe unlock and call rejection for EUR 74.99. Finally, the EUR 89.99-priced realme Air Buds Pro features Active Noise Cancellation, IPX4 water resistance and lasts up to 25 hours playback time.
