Realme has announced three new Q series smartphones with dual-mode 5G connectivity – the Realme Q2, Realme Q2 Pro and Realme Q2i. All three are based on the MediaTek Dimensity processor and come pre-loaded with Realme UI 2.0 (based on Android 10).
Realme Q2 and Realme Q2 Pro
The Q2 has a 6.5-inch FHD+ IPS display with 120Hz refresh rate, side-placed fingerprint sensor and depends on a 5,000mAh battery with 30W fast charging via USB-C while the Realme Q2 Pro has a slightly smaller 6.43-inch FHD+ Super AMOLED display with 180Hz touch sampling rate, in-display fingerprint sensor, and depends on a 4,300mAh battery with 65W SuperDart fast charging. Both models are powered by the Mediatek Dimensity 800U and feature 16MP selfie camera.
The Realme Q2 has a triple rear camera system with 48MP (f/1.8) main sensor, 8MP (f/2.3, 119O FOV) and 2MP macro sensor with 4cm focal length. The Q2 Pro has a quad camera system with extra 2MP black and white lens with the same setup as the Q2. The rest of the specs includes – Bluetooth 5.0, Wi-Fi 802.11ac, USB Type-C, microSD card, 3.5mm audio jack and 1216 super linear speaker.
- The Q2 is available in two configurations: 4GB RAM + 128GB storage for CNY 1,199 and 6GB RAM + 128GB storage for CNY 1,299. Sales is expected to commence starting October 19 in Blue and Silver colours.
- The Q2 Pro is available in two configurations: 8GB RAM + 128GB storage for CNY 1,599 and 8GB RAM + 256GB storage for CNY 1,799. Sales is scheduled to commence starting November 1.
Realme Q2i
The Q2i is the cheapest of the trio. It has a 6.5-inch HD+ IPS LCD display, rear fingerprint sensor, 8MP selfie camera and triple camera system with 13MP (f/2.2) main lens, 2MP macro lens with 4cm focal length and 2Mp depth lens. It is powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 700U processor paired with 4GB RAM and 128GB built-in storage. Power is supplied by a 5,000mAh battery with 18W fast charging support. Pricing starts at CNY 998 and sales commences starting November 1.
