Redmi Note 9T, Redmi 9T Debuts with MIUI 12, 22.5W Fast Charger

Xiaomi’s Redmi sub-brand has announced the launch of the Redmi Note 9T and Redmi 9T. Both devices have the same 6.53-inch FHD+ displays with respective Corning Gorilla Glass 5 and Corning Gorilla Glass 3 protection and come pre-loaded with MIUI 12 (based on Android 10).

The Redmi Note 9T is marketed as the first ever 5G-enabled smartphone in Xiaomi’s Redmi series. It is powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 800U 7nm octa-core processor and backed a 5,000mAh battery with 18W fast charging support and 22.5W fast charger in the box. It packs a side-mounted fingerprint sensor, 3.5mm audio jack, 13MP (f/2.25) selfie and rear triple cameras with 48MP (f/1.79) main, 2MP (f/2.4) depth and 2MP (f/2.4) macro sensors.

On the other hand, the Redmi 9T is based on the Redmi 9 Power released in India. This means it is powered by the Octa Core Snapdragon 662 11nm Mobile Platform and depends on a 6,000mAh battery with 18W fast charging support and includes a 22.5W fast charger in the box. It has the same 8MP (f/2.0) selfie camera and a quad rear camera setup which includes the same setup as the Note 9T but adds a 8MP (f/2.2, 120O FOV) ultra-wide angle unit.

The Redmi Note 9T is priced at for EUR 229 for the base-level variant (4GB + 64GB) and EUR 269 for the next variant (4GB + 128GB). While the Redmi 9T is priced starting at EUR 159 for the base-level (4GB + 64GB), EUR 189 for the mid-level (4GB + 128GB) and EUR 199 for the top-level (6GB + 128GB).
