Reliance Jio has been on a roll of late with about four devices already announced in the LYF series. Another smartphone from the line, the LYF Wind 6 has surfaced on a 3rd-party retail listing in India. The entry-level 4G device is listed as available for Rs. 6499 (~ US$ 103) on HomeShop18 but not yet listed on Reliance’s Digital online store.
The Reliance Jio LYF Wind 6 has the same polycarbonate body build as the LYF Flame 1 buts has a bigger 5-inch display with unknown resolution. It relies on a quad-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 210 processor clocked at 1.11GHz with 1GB of RAM and 8GB built-in storage space.
For additional storage space, there is a microSD card slot for storage expansion up to 32GB. For photography, there is a front facing 5-megapixel camera for selfies and video chats; and the main camera is a rear facing 5-megapixel snapper with AutoFocus and LED flash.
Connectivity options on the LYF Wind 6 includes – 4G LTE/3G HSPA+, VoLTE, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth and GPS. The device has. Dual SIM slots, weighs 156 grams, measures 143.5 x 72 x 8.7 mm in dimensions and boots Android 5.1 Lollipop OS. It is backed by a 2250mAh battery which promises up to 8 hours of talk time.
