Reliance Retail has announced a new entry-level smartphone in the LYF Flame series – the LYF Flame 6. The Rs 3999 (USD 60) priced 4-inch device has Voice over LTE (VoLTE) and Dual SIM slots like other devices from the brand and slots in along the LYF Flame 3 and LYF Flame 4 smartphones.
Running Android 5.1 Lollipop OS, the LYF Flame 6 has 4-inch TN display with 800 x 480 pixels (WVGA) resolution and Asahi DragonTrail Glass protection. Under the hood, it is powered by a quad-core processor clocked at 1.5GHz with Mali-400 MP2 GPU, 512MB RAM, 4GB built-in storage and a microSD card slot for storage expansion up to 32GB.
For photography, the main camera is a 2-megapixel camera with LED flash and a front facing 2-megapixel camera for selfies. It is backed by a 1750mAh battery, supports 2G, 3G and 4G LTE with VoLTE as well as Bluetooth 4.0, GPS, micro USB 2.0 and Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n connectivity options.
Compared to the LYF Flame 3 and LYF Flame 4, the LYF Flame 6 has a larger battery (1750mAh) compared to the 1700mAh and 1300mAh on the duo but the size of the main camera is smaller. It also has leather-like back cover and comes in Black colour option only.
