More and more rugged smartphones and tablets are gracing the market, thus, there is competition among manufacturers to improve on the ruggedity of device from surviving harsh weather to others. Chinese computer products company, GiNZZU has announced the GiNZZU RS94 Dual with a bullet proof display (sort of).
In terms of ruggedity, the GiNZZU RS94 Dual features a 4.7-inch IPS display with an armoured glass which makes the display bullet proof (resistant to mechanical impact). The device is IP68 certified for resistance to water and Dust; the device is also resistant to Shock.
The screen has a resolution of 1280 x 720 pixels (HD), a pixel density of 312ppi and a screen to body ratio of 51.63%. Under the hood, the device is powered by a quad-core processor with 1GB RAM, 8GB space of internal storage and for additional storage there is a microSD card slot for expansion up to 32GB.
Another highlight of the GiNZZU RS94 Dual is the 4000mAh battery ticking underneath which is expected to provide 840 minutes (14 hours) of talk time and 21,000 minutes (14 days) of standby time. On the back, there is a 8MP camera with Flash, it measures 78 x 151.7 x 16 mm in dimensions, the device weighs 275 grams and runs on Android 4.4.4 Kitkat OS.
Like the name suggests, the Rugged GiNZZU RS94 Dual is Dual SIM enabled, supports 2G & 3G networks and connectivity options includes – micro USB, USB 2.0, Bluetooth 4.0, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, GPS/A-GPSs and Wi-Fi Hotspot. The only available colour option of the device is the mix of Black and Yellow hue.
