Russia-bound Huawei MediaPad T1 7 3G costs $126

Huawei has a new tablet offering ready to be available in Russia, that tablet is the Huawei MediaPad T1 7 3G. The 7-inch tablet with 3G module has started selling already (June 8th) in Russia for a suggested retail price of 6990 Rubles ($126).

Moving to the specs, the Huawei MediaPad T1 7 3G features a 7-inch (1024 x 600 pixels) display and it’s body is an all metal build. Under the hood, it is powered by a quad-core Spreadtrum SC7731G processor clocked at 1.2 GHZ paired with 1GB of RAM and 8GB space of internal storage space. There is a microSD card slot for storage expansion (up to 32GB).

The front and the rear cameras use the same 2MP snapper and the tablet as it’s name suggests supports 3G connectivity, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n and Bluetooth connectivity options. The slate runs on Android 4.4 Kitkat OS with the company’s proprietary EMUI 3.0 ontop. 

The Huawei MediaPad T1 7 3G is backed by a 4100mah battery which is bundled along with a power management technology called – SmartPower 2.0 for longer battery life. This feature allows the battery provide up to 300 hours of standby time, up to 12 hours of video playback and up to 8 hours of surfing the Internet on Wi-Fi. 

From the look of things the Huawei MediaPad T1 7 3G would be available only in Russia. But things could change and see the tablet debut in other markets. We’re it available in your country, would you be getting the tablet? Yay or Nay?
