Salora has announced the successor of the Arya Z2, the Salora Arya Z3 which is available exclusively on Amazon India and backed by Salora’s established service network, SILCARE. The Arya Z3 is available in Black Colour option only and has a Rs 6999 ($113) price tag.
The Salora Arya Z3 features a 5-inch (1280 x 720 pixels) HD display, powered by an octa-core MediaTek MT6592 processor which clocks at 1.4GHz with Mali 450 GPU, 1GB of RAM, 8GB space of internal storage and a microSD card slot for expansion (up to 32GB).
Photography is handled by a 8MP main camera with LED flash and a front facing 2MP camera for selfies. It supports Dual SIM functionality, measures 8mm in thickness, weighs 115grams and has FM Radio on-board. Connectivity options on the device includes – 3G, GPS, 802.11 b/g/n Wi-Fi and Bluetooth 4.0.
The Salora Arya Z3 runs Android 4.4 Kitkat OS and comes with HotKnot feature, which allows smooth transfer of media files (music and videos) by placing the device’s side by side. It also comes with gesture control features which allows unlocking the phone and opening of apps easy.
Finally, it relies on a 2200mAh battery which also comes with Ultra Power Saving mode to further lengthen battery life.
