It is no longer news that Samsung is looking to dish out a line of A series smartphones, we already have details on the Samsung SM-A700 (Samsung A7/Samsung Galaxy A7), Samsung SM-A500 (Samsung A5/Samsung Galaxy A5), Samsung SM-A300 (Samsung A3/Samsung Galaxy A3). The three devices would pack the same metal-framed body like the Samsung Galaxy Alpha.
The Samsung Galaxy A3 (SM-A300X) passed through the Chinese Agency TENAA (Chinese equivalent of U.S’s FCC) and some of the apparent specs of the device has been further unravelled. The device is set to feature a 4.5-inch (960 x 540 pixels) qHD OLED display, 1GB of RAM, 8GB of internal Storage (a microSD card slot for expansion up to 64GB) and a quad-core processor clocked ar 1.2GHz with Adreno 306 GPU.
Other specs details includes – 8MP rear camera with LED flash, front facing 5MP camera for selfies & video chats, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, and other standard connectivity options. The Samsung Galaxy A3 measures 130.1 × 65.5 × 6.9mm, weighs 112 grams and comes with Android 4.4.4 Kitkat OS (possibly Android L).
The listing also further confirms more the Samsung Galaxy A3 (SM-A300X) has the following variants – SM-A3000, SM-A3009, SM-A300H, SM-A300F, SM-A300G, SM-A300F/DS, SM-A300H/DS, SM-A300G/DS and SM-A300YZ. The Galaxy A3 smartphones according to sources is expected to debut in Q4 2014 in select markets.
