Samsung Electronics America has launched the Samsung Chromebook Plus V2 (LTE) – a new premium 2-in-1 Chromebook with built-in LTE connectivity. It is the LTE version of Samsung’s Chromebook Plus (V2) and one of the few Chromebooks around with 4G LTE support.
Prices starting at $599, the Samsung Chromebook Plus V2 (LTE) has the same specs as the original and functions as a laptop or tablet. It features a 12-inch 1080p Full HD touchscreen display with 300 nits max brightness, Intel Celeron 3965Y processor, 13MP rear camera, 1MP front-facing camera, 4GB of RAM and 32GB built-in storage.
As expected, it runs Google’s Linux Kernel based Chrome OS and also has a microSD card slot (up to 400GB cards), built-in Stylus Pen, 1x USB 3.0, 2x USB-C with 4K display out and a 39Wh battery. The Chromebook Plus V2 (LTE) will be available on sale starting November 2, 2018 and will be sold from Best Buy and Verizon as well as on Samsung.com.
