Earlier this week, Samsung announced the ‘FLOW’ at the Samsung Developer conference. Just like the Apple Continuity allows users move tasks between any Apple device (iPhone, iPod, iMac, iPad, etc), the Samsung Flow allows users to move tasks between any Samsung device – Smartphones, PCs, Wearables, Television & Laptops and continue from where they left off.
The Samsung Flow is differentiated into three categories – Transfer, Defer and Notify.
-
- • Transfer – This allows users move content across any Samsung device be it a phone call, video, web page or photos.
• Defer – This allows users pause any activity across any Samsung device and continue at a later time from where its left off on the same device or another.
• Notify – This allows user push notifications across all device, be it a missed or incoming phone call, software updates, low battery earnings and more.
The Samsung Flow is only available as SDK for developers at the moment, the Company has not announced any details pertaining availability or when it would debut on Samsung devices. Judging by the list of Samsung Devices available the company would sure want to get it right before pushing the feature into the market.
