In addition to the Samsung Galaxy A30 and Galaxy A50, the company has added the Samsung Galaxy A10 smartphone to its revamped Galaxy A smartphone series in India. The budget device comes pre-loaded with Android 9 Pie OS with Samsung One UI and packs the Samsung Exynos 7884 octa-core processor – same one used on the Galaxy J3 V, paired with 2GB of RAM.
The Samsung Galaxy A10 has a 6.2-inch (1520 x 720 pixels) HD+ Infinity-V display, dual SIM slots and a 3,400mAh battery. It has a single 13MP (f/1.9) rear camera with LED flash and a 5MP (f/2.0) selfie camera with support for facial recognition. It has a plastic body build, micro USB port, 32GB built-in storage, microSD card slot (up to 512GB cards) and measures 155.6 x 75.6 x 7.94 mm in dimension.
The Galaxy A10 is priced at INR 8,490 and will go on sale from March 20 in Black, Blue or Red colour options while the Galaxy A30 will go on sale earlier from March 2 at INR 16,990. The Galaxy A50 will also go on sale from March 2 and the base model (4GB + 64GB) will sell for INR 19,990 while the higher (6GB + 64GB) model costs INR 22,990.
