Samsung has announced the metal clad Galaxy A5 and Galaxy A3 smartphones, but the company has kept mum on the Dual SIM variant of these device. However, the Dual SIM version of the Samsung Galaxy A5 has been quietly listed on the company’s China website.
The Samsung Galaxy A5 Dual SIM (SM-A5000) features Multi SIM (Nano SIM) and has basically the same specs as the Galaxy A5 but also includes support for China’s network bands (TD-LTE, FDD-LTE, 3G TD-SCDMA).
Specs wise, the Galaxy A5 Dual SIM packs the same 5.0-inch HD Super AMOLED display, 1.2GHz quad-core processor, 2GB RAM, 16GB internal memory, a microSD card (up to 64GB), Dual SIM functionality and Android 4.4 (KitKat). Others includes – 13MP rear camera with LED flash, 5MP front-facing camera, 4G LTE, NFC, Bluetooth 4.0, GPS/AGPS and a 2300mAh battery.
There is no word on when the Samsung Galaxy A5 Dual SIM will debut but it is expected to be available in China ahead of the Galaxy A3. Pricing and other details has also not been announced.
