Samsung Unveils Galaxy A7 (2018) With Triple Rear Cameras, 24MP Front Camera

Samsung has introduced the Galaxy A7 (2018), the latest addition to the Galaxy A series family. It is the first phone from Samsung with a rear triple-camera setup and one of the few with a total of four cameras. The brand is also rumoured to launch the Galaxy S10 with triple camera.

The Samsung Galaxy A7 (2018) features a primary 24MP (f/1.7) AF camera along with a 8MP (f/2.4) ultra-wide angle camera with 120-degree lens and a third 5MP (f/2.2) camera for depth sensing. The rear setup here might not be as powerful as that of the Huawei P20 Pro.

It also has a 24MP (f/2.0) FF camera on the front with an adjustable LED flash for bokeh effect selfies, AR Emoji and more. The device sports a premium glass design, 6-inch Super AMOLED Infinity display, side fingerprint sensor and Dolby Atmos for immersive sound.

The Galaxy A7 (2018) also has features such as Samsung Pay, Samsung Health and Bixby. It will arrive in Black, Blue, Gold and Pink colour options when it hits select Asian and European markets starting this fall. It may expand to additional markets in the near future.

To celebrate the launch properly, Samsung is hosting ‘A Galaxy Event’ on October 11.‎
