Samsung Galaxy A7 launches alongside the A3 and A5 in the Philippines

Even though Samsung has officially announced the Galaxy A3 and A5 smartphones, nothing is being said on the Galaxy A7 which is expected to be launched in South Korea. The device has been spotted in different occasion – On GFX Bench, it even got certified on TENAA last month. The Samsung Galaxy A7 is tipped to be the slimmest Samsung smartphone ever at just 6.3mm thickness.

Yugatech is reporting that Samsung has quietly announced the Galaxy A7 in the Philippines after it was unveiled in Malaysia some few days ago. The Samsung Galaxy A7 is said to have been announced alongside the Galaxy A3 and Galaxy A5. All three devices all feature an all-metal unibody design which gives the midrange device a more premium look.

The Samsung Galaxy A3, A5 and A7 are said to retail for Php 16,990 ($377), Php 19,990 ($443) and Php 24,990 ($554) respectively.

The Galaxy A3 and A5 has already been detailed so we won’t go into that. The Samsung Galaxy A7 features a 5.5-inch Super AMOLED Full HD display with a pixel density of 401ppi. Under the hood is
Is the Samsung Exynos 5433 octa-core CPU (1.8GHz cortex A5-cores + 1.3GHz cortex-A53 cores) with 2GB of RAM and 16GB space of expandable internal storage. 

Other features includes – a 12MP AF Rear camera with LED flash, a front facing 5MP camera, Dual-SIM (with Dual Standby) functionality, Android 4.4 Kikat OS. Connectivity options on the device includes Bluetooth, Dual Band 802.11 a/b/g/n Wi-Fi, NFC, 4G LTE, and GPS. The device measures 150.9 x 75.9 x 6.3 mm and a 2600mAh battery completes the specs sheet.

The Samsung Galaxy A3 and Galaxy A5 has already been launched in Nigeria. But at the moment it is not listed by any major retailer.
