The Samsung Galaxy A8 is the latest entrant to the A Series of devices from the company and is expected to go official very soon. The Galaxy A8 is known with the model number SM-A8000.
Most of the Samsung Galaxy A8 Specs have already been speculated and the latest GFXBench listing of the device seems to confirms these details. It sports a 5.5-inch (1920 x 1080 pixels) Full HD display, powered by an octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 615 64-bit processor with Adreno 405 GPU for graphics.
There is 2GB of RAM on-board to handle tasks and 16GB space of internal storage out of which only 12GB is user available. The rear camera is a 16-megapixel camera with LED flash and front facing 5-megapixels camera for selfies; both cameras can record 1080p videos.
The Samsung Galaxy A8 supports 2G, 3G & 4G LTE networks and also NFC, Wi-Fi Bluetooth connectivity options. It boots Android 5.1.1 Lollipop OS out-of-the-box and is backed by an ample sized 3050mAh battery. Like the Galaxy A3, A5 and A7; it is also housed in a metal body.
The Galaxy A8 should measure around 5.9mm thin which should make it one of thee slimmest device from the company. There is no word on pricing and availability yet as the device has not yet gone official.
