Samsung Galaxy A90 5G Debuts With Snapdragon 855 Chipset, 48MP Primary Camera

The Samsung Galaxy A90 5G is the latest addition and the first from the entire Galaxy A series family to support 5G connectivity out-of-the-box. It is powered by Qualcomm’s high-end Snapdragon 855 5G mobile platform paired with Snapdragon X50 5G modem and Qualcomm® RF-Front-End solutions and secured by Samsung Knox.

Asides 5G connectivity and enhanced AI capabilities, the Galaxy A90 5G has a large 6.7-inch Full HD+ Super AMOLED Infinity-U Display, on-screen fingerprint sensor, unique geometric pattern on the back glass, microSD card slot (supports up to 512GB cards) and depends on a long-lasting 4,500mAh battery with 25W super-fast charging.

The main camera setup, which consists a primary 48MP (f/2.0) snapper paired with 8MP (f/2.2, 123°) and 5MP (f/2.2) depth sensors, has features such as Flaw Detector, Scene Optimizer and Super Steady, while the 32MP (f/2.0) selfie camera has Live Focus Mode and supports facial recognition.

The Galaxy A90 5G arrives pre-loaded with Android Pie and either 6GB + 128GB or 8GB + 128GB – RAM and storage options. It also supports both Samsung DeX and Microsoft’s Your Phone app, and currently on sale in South Korea in Black and White colour options.
