What’s a week without a good leak? Two of Samsung’s upcoming smartphones from the Galaxy Alpha Series has been spotted in Mexico. The Samsung Galaxy Alpha A5 (Samsung Galaxy A5) and the Galaxy Alpha A3 (Samsung Galaxy A3) were both spotted in Mexico thanks to the guys at AndroidMX who got their hands on the smartphones.
According to AndroidMX, the Samsung Galaxy Alpha A5 would feature a Nano-SIM card slot, non-removable back cover and a sleek aluminium unibody with . The Galaxy Alpha A5 is expected to have a price range between $450 and $500. The device is expected to feature a 5-inch HD Super AMOLED display, a Snapdragon 400 processor, 13MP rear camera, a 5MP front camera, 16GB internal storage, microSD card slot, and a 2,330 mAh battery.
Likewise with the Samsung Galaxy Alpha A3 some of the specs are already known. The device is expected to feature LTE connectivity, Dual-SIM support and will have a price range between $350 and $400. Other specs includes – 4.5-inch qHD display, 1GB RAM, 8GB internal storage, microSDcard slot, Qualcomm snapdragon 410 chipset, 8MP rear camera and a 5MP front camera for selfies and video calls.
Both the Samsung Galaxy Alpha A5 and Galaxy Alpha A3 could go official in coming months (probably before the end of the year). Much is unknown about the Samsung Galaxy Alpha A7 except it would feature a 5.5-inch display, Dual-SIM card slots, a price tag standing around $500 but won’t match the Galaxy Alpha in terms of specs.
Concerning the Galaxy Alpha series, Samsung is said to prioritising build (Aluminium Unibody) over features. The company has but finally bowed to their fans wishes to create even mid-range smartphones with premium feel. We will keep you posted when these devices go official.
