Samsung kicked off the Galaxy Unpacked 2021 with the launch of the Galaxy Buds Pro, before introducing the Galaxy SmartTag/SmartTag+ and Galaxy S21 series. The latest premium wireless earbuds deliver immersive audio, intelligent Active Noise Cancellation (ANC), and refreshed stylish design in three stunning colours: Phantom Black, Phantom Silver, and Phantom Violet. It is available starting January 15 in select markets for US$ 199.99 (AU$ 349).
The Samsung Galaxy Buds Pro is equipped with 11mm woofer for deeper bass, 6.5mm tweeter crisp treble, and both 3x microphones and Voice Pickup Unit (VPU) to pick up only the voice and eliminate unnecessary noise. The company also adopted the new Wind Shield technology to eliminate wind interference, and the earbuds have intelligent Active Noise Cancellation (ANC), Ambient Sound capabilities and voice Detection.
Samsung has included an Auto Switch feature, which automatically switches the earbuds usage between different Galaxy devices. In terms of battery life, the Buds Pro lasts up to 5 hours (ANC)/8 hours (without ANC) of playback time and 13 hours (ANC)/20 hours (without ANC) additional charge with the wireless charging case. Finally, it comes with the SmartThings Find feature to allow users find both pair of the earbuds.
