Samsung is set to release its first ever dual camera smartphone – the Samsung Galaxy C10. While it is known that most Galaxy C series smartphones are exclusive to China, the C10 seems to be garnering interest from around the world. It is expected to be launched by Q3 2017 (ahead of the upcoming Galaxy Note 8 which could have the feature too).

According to the grapevine, the Samsung Galaxy C10 has two rear cameras (possibly a wide-angle + telephoto sensor) but the resolution is still a mystery. The device, which is already being tested by Samsung China, sports a 6-inch (1920 x 1080 pixels) Full HD display, 6GB RAM and a 4,000mAh battery.
It is powered by an recently announced octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 660 mobile platform but the company could opt for the in-house Exynos 7872 hexa-core processor, if there are not enough Qualcomm chipsets. There are two built-in storage options – 64GB and 128GB (expandable via microSD).
Asides the fingerprint sensor embedded into the home button and USB Type-C port, Samsung’s Bixby AI-powered assistant (accessed via a dedicated button) is also tipped to make its debut on the Galaxy C10. The 64GB built-in storage model is expected to start at CNY 3,499 (US$ 515) in China.
