Samsung has officially announced the talked about Galaxy C series smartphones – the Samsung Galaxy C5 and Samsung Galaxy C7 in China. Both devices sport an all metal body build, Hybrid Dual SIM slots, Fingerprint Sensors and boots Android 6.0.1 Marshmallow OS out-of-the-box.
The Samsung Galaxy C5 sports a 5.2-inch (1920 x 1080 pixels) Full HD Super AMOLED display and is backed by a 2600mAh battery while the Samsung Galaxy C7 sports a bigger 5.7-inch display with the same FHD screen resolution and is backed by a slightly bigger 3000mAh battery.
The Galaxy C5 relies an octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 617 processor while the Galaxy C7 is powered by the octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 625 processor; both are paired along with 4GB of RAM and 32GB or 64GB built-in storage options which is expandable up to 128GB via microSD.
In camera aspect, both devices opt for a rear facing 16-megapixels camera with Dual-Tone LED flash, f/1.9 aperture and a front facing 8-megapixels selfie camera with the same f/1.9 aperture. Connectivity options onboard includes 4G LTE, NFC, Dual-Band Wi-Fi 802.11ac, Bluetooth 4.2, and GPS.
The Samsung Galaxy C5 is available for a price tag of CNY 2999 (USD 355) and CNY 2399 (USD 366) for the 32GB and 64GB storage models while the Samsung Galaxy C7 is available for a price tag of CNY 2599 (USD 396) and CNY 2799 (USD 427) for the two storage options respectively. Colour options available includes – Silver, Grey, Rose Gold and Gold colors.
