Samsung’s upcoming Galaxy C series smartphones – the Galaxy C5 Pro (SM-C5010) and Galaxy C7 Pro (SM-C7010) have been certified in China by TENAA. The duo, were expected to go official in China this month but a 2017 release date is looking more likely.
As expected, the Samsung Galaxy C5 Pro (SM-C5010) and Galaxy C7 Pro (SM-C7010) are the pro versions of the Galaxy C5 and Galaxy C7 (respectively) released back in May. The pair continues with the same body design and disappointingly, will comes pre-installed Android 6.0.1 Marshmallow OS instead of Nougat.
Both devices pack a 64GB built-in storage space, Hybrid Dual SIM slots (nano + nano/microSD), 4GB of RAM, 16MP front camera with f/1.9 aperture, Rear 16MP f/1.9 camera dual-tone LED flash, 4G VoLTE and NFC support, fingerprint sensor (home button) and an octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon processor.
The Galaxy C5 Pro (SM-C5010) sports a 5.2-inch (1920 x 1080 pixels) Full HD display and backed by a 3000mAh battery while the Galaxy C7 Pro (SM-C7010) has a 5.7-inch with the same screen resolution and backed a bigger 3300mAh battery. There is still no official word on pricing or availability, however, the Galaxy A 2017 series starting with the Galaxy A5 (2017) is expected to be announce in coming days.
