The Samsung Galaxy C8 is the latest addition to Samsung’s China-focused ‘Galaxy C’ smartphone series. Like the Samsung Galaxy Note 8, the new mid-ranger features a rear dual camera setup and turns out to be Samsung’s rebranded variant of the Galaxy J7+ for the Chinese market.
Flaunting a metal unibody design, the Samsung Galaxy C8 houses a primary 13MP camera with f/1.7 aperture and Dual-LED flash along with a secondary 5MP camera with f/1.9 aperture to capture depth information. The front camera is a 16MP snapper with f/1.9 apeture.
The device sports a 5.5-inch (1920 x 1080 pixels) Full HD Super AMOLED display with 2.5D Curved Glass, front home button and 3,000mAh battery with fast charging. It is powered by an octa-core Mediatek Helio P20 processor, boots Android Nougat OS with Samsung’s Experience and comes in two memory and storage variants.

Pricing and Availability
The Samsung Galaxy C8 is expected to go on sale in China soon in Black, Gold and Rose Pink colours. Pricing is yet to be officially announced however it is expected to start at CNY 2,000 (~US$ 310).
