After making its ways online on several ocasions, Samsung has officially debuted its new premium looking smartphone in the ‘Galaxy C’ series in China. The Samsung Galaxy C9 Pro arrives in the country starting November 11th for a price tag of CNY 3199 (US$ 470) in Gold and Rose Gold colour options.
Running Android 6.0 Marshmallow OS with the company’s UI on top, the Samsung Galaxy C9 Pro sports a 6-inch (1920 x 1080 pixels) FHD display with 2.5D curved glass, aerospace-grade aluminium unibody design, a fingerprint sensor embedded into the front home button and Cirrus Hi-Fi audio codec for improved audio performance
On the inside, the Dual SIM enabled device relies on an octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 653 processor clocked at 2.0GHz along with up to 6GB of RAM and 64GB built-in storage, which is expandable up to 256GB via microSD. For photography, there is a rear facing 16MP f/1.9 camera with dual-tone LED flash and a front facing 16MP camera with same aperture.
The Samsung Galaxy C9 Pro measures 162.9 x 80.7 x 6.9 mm in dimensions, weighs 189 grams and is backed by a 4000mAh battery with fast charging ability. It has a USB Type-C port for charging and exchanging data, supports 4G LTE networks and Samsung Pay as well as Dual-Band Wi-Fi 802.11ac, Bluetooth 4.2, ANT+ and NFC connectivity options.
