In the past few days (or weeks depending), the Samsung Galaxy C9 (SM-C9000) has been making waves in the rumour mill. The phablet device has been referenced on India’s Zauba Listing, spotted on Benchmark and all that remain is an official announcement or listing.
Expected to join the Galaxy C5 and Galaxy C7, the Samsung Galaxy C9 has been spotted on GFXBench benchmark listing with up to 6GB of RAM. Devices such as the LeEco Le Pro 3, Vernee Mars, OnePlus 3, ZTE Axon 7, ZUK Z2 Pro and Vivo Xplay 5, can also boast of such RAM capacity.
It sports a 6-inch display with 1920 x 1080 pixels screen resolution, powered by an octa-core Qualcomm processor clocked at 2.0GHz (likely the Snapdragon 652) along with Adreno 510 GPU, 64GB built-in storage space and run Android 6.0.1 Marshmallow OS.
For photography, there is a rear facing 16MP camera and a similar 16MP front facing camera for selfies and video chats. The Galaxy C9 (SM-C9000) is expected to use the same body build and design as the other Galaxy C series devices and a fingerprint sensor could be in the mix.
With such amount of RAM, the Samsung Galaxy C9 (SM-C9000) is sure headed for the Chinese market and could be exclusive to it.
